Founded in 2010 as Vision International College (VIC) in Puntland, Somalia, Vision University of Somalia (VUS) has evolved into a leading institution of higher learning. Initially established to bridge the gap in professional skills training, the institution rapidly expanded its academic scope, gaining a strong reputation for excellence in education and practical skills development. In 2023, VUS was officially upgraded to a full-fledged university to meet the growing demand for advanced tertiary education in Somalia. With strategically located campuses in major Puntland towns, VUS ensures accessibility for students from diverse backgrounds. Our university combines rigorous academic programs with hands-on training, equipping graduates to address local, regional, and global challenges.

VUS is deeply engaged in international collaboration. Through partnerships with Amity University in India and the Elit Language Center in Malaysia, students have opportunities for global exposure, language mastery, postgraduate studies, and participation in international academic exchanges.
